LaTeX commands in Office 2007

I found it lately to my great joy, that when writing equations in Word 2007
you can use standard LaTeX commands like \sum and \alpha. PowerPoint though
does not seem to have the same feature. Does anyone know of such a feature in
PowerPoint, or why it is maybe not included?
