Latest Xp updates

Having installed SP 3 went to Windows Update as I usually do at least once a
month and low and behold the scan for updates for my system returned 0 ? I
suppose I don't need the latest updates (KB 941644-KB 943485 ). Anyone have
any Ideas on this ? Sp3 Runs Great ! So far.

Well - SP3 - in case you did not know - is not finished. WWhat you have is
a RELEASE CONDIDATE. When the full version is released - you will likely
have to uninstall the SP3 RC1 you installed and install the final.

No you haven't. SP3 hasn't been released yet, and what you installed
is a beta version, an unfinished test version.

I know nothing about this particular issue, but you should be aware
that when you run a test version of software (*especially* a test
version of an operating system), you are always at risk of problems,
which could possibly be as severe as resulting in the loss of
everything on your drive. If you want to run that risk, it's your
choice, but you should certainly not be surprised at any anomalies
resulting from it.

Ken , Shenan ; I am sorry for not being totally exact on my statment , I knew
it was a BETA but still my question as is has not been answered. The system
SP3 Beta is installed on is a system I use to run all the new software and
Beta versions realesed that I choose to give a go ! Some of the stuff out
there is not worth my time nor anyone else to even bother with.

Hello.
Have you tried downloading the updates to disc, using the catalog update
site and installing?
Perhaps the update site will not update SP3, only SP2.

take care,
beamish.

SP3 is not fully released. After its installation (The Release Candidate
version of it) - your system is unsupported. I would think that it being
unsupported would pretty much answer your question about why you were not
possibly offered any updates on your unsupported system. ;-)
