Latest Windows Media patch that came out.

If I have a machine's Automatic updates set to update at a certain time but
the account is a user account and logged in will XP install the critical
update anyway? This is just a general question

I had installed the Microsoft patch on my machine at work immediately in the
morning about 5 hours later I get Symantec pop up screen saying it detected
the Bloodhound.Exploit.56. The file was located in the Temporary Internet
Files which I deleted but I just thought it was weird that it looked like the
patch didn't work.

Just because you have the patch doesn't mean that you can't download virus
files related to the exploit.

Thanks but can workstations still install critical updates if they are logged
in as user if it is set to a time?
