what is the latest version of IIS that can be installed on W2K Server ? how
to obtain an install it ?

how about W2003 Server ?
 
IIS 5.0 is included with Windows 2000 Server
IIS 6.0 is included with Windows Server 2003

You cannot install IIS 6.0 on Windows 2000

If you install IIS, you have to patch it to rid itself of misc bugs.
Remember Code-Red years ago?? I'm STILL being hit by codered on
infected systems. I would recommend apache, it's free and available on
NT-based systems.

If you anyway decide to install IIS, I hope you keep on top of it and
don't let viruses get to it.
