Sun has posted a new release of the Java Runtime
(1.4.2_04). The manual download page is found @

becareful installing it,

i need 03 version b4 you can intall 04 or you will get error 1722

Sorry, I forgot to mention you should uninstall any
existing Sun Java instance before installing 1.4.2_04.

incorrect,

u need 03 before u can install 04, then u can uninstall 03 but u lose the
java icon on desk top & menu but will be in control panel. also make sure
you delete all files in both temp directories in c:\windows\temp & under
documents & settings\user name\local settings\temp make sure you have all
files & folders checked so u can see this area. & delete all in it b4
installing java cause MSI errors are common.
