Latest Security Updates seem to Block My Banking Downloads - Help

E

Eric

I installed the latest Security Updates to my Windows XP Pro SP2 and
Internet Explorer 7.

I can no longer go to my Bank's Web Page and download my financial data into
Quicken 2006.

The error message reads:

"C:\... \Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\...

Windows Cannot Access... May Not Have Appropriate Permissions..."

I looked at the Content.IE5 folder properties and found that the Read Only
box is shaded. I cannot remove this.

Any suggestions?

By the way, my bank does not allow direct access to my accounts by the
Quicken Servers.

Thanks,

Eric

Well, had you looked at any other folder or folders you would have found the
same situation.
Windows XP ignores this setting.

What are the permissions set on the folder and files (if any). Often
though, the message is missleading;
instead you may need to clean out the temporary file fiolder to free some
space.
