Latest patch network

I keep getting a "Latest network patch" purportedly form MS
Corporation Secutiry Dept. My anti-virus stops it everytime.
However, it clogs up my e-mails and it comes thru at least 2 or 3
times a day. Can I stop it from coming to my computer?
