I have my affected hard disk not currently in my machine so I am
unable to try at the moment.

I would first try one or both of the following free programs:
SAS (SuperAntiSpyware)
MBAM (MalwareBytes AntiMalware)
Download, install, update and then run each one separately.
You could also check some of the many hits on that malware in Google:
