Last updated statement

I want to add the date the web site was last updated. I inherited this
website which was written in html. I am now using FrontPage to update. This
automatic item is not there. Can anyone give me the code? Thanks
 
have you tried

Insert > Date and Time...

then select the "Page last edited..." option
