Last record, record index

I do not want to use the naviagation buttons on the bottom, however, when the
user hits next, I do not want it to create a new record (the default
operation). How can I determine that I am at the last record, so that I do
not do the DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNext command?

Set the form AllowAdditions to False.
