Last name, First HELP

I have a laptop computer and the address book names is
appearing First Name, Last Name? Also, when in email and
I click on the TO: field, the names appear the same way.
I want them to appear Last name, then First name. The
options has been changed but it only affects new
entries. Someone mentioned it could have been a problem
when I installed Office 2003. There is no way to change
them once the address cards are already appearing that
way as far as I can tell, so I'm wondering if it would
work if I delete all of the contacts from the laptop,
check and/or change the options settings to what we want
and then sync it up with the server again (where the
contacts actually reside) with the new settings. Kind of
like faking that they are new entries. Do you think this
would work?

What sort order did you specify for the Outlook Address Book? (If you don't
know, look: Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > )

What is the format of your File As fields?
