Have a look for Panasonic KX-P6300 or 6500 - it used to be printer with
lowest cost per page. Also cheap, since it's LED printer type. I have 6150
model and i'm happy with it. my model has 300dpi, but above ones have 600
dpi. speed is 6 pages per min. It's not fast, but cheap...

For 500 pages per month, almost anything would work. The best per-page
cost is the used LaserJet from the thrift store or local classified ads
for $50 or so, plus another $50 for new toner--if it needs it.
