Larger cursor on the field

It is possible to make the blinking cursor slightly larger
when it is sit on the field. When user click on new record,
I have preset the tab location to where the 1st field
should be entered. In that field, I set the colour to
highligted thus the Cursor not very visible.

I wonder if it is possible to set the cursor wider instead
of a vertical bar blinking.

I haven't ever tried this, but this page on the Access Web seems to show
