Large unusable area on NTFS volume

No I don't Anna. I refuse to pay again until version 9 comes out with some
great improvements. (-:

You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!
 
If the Maxtor utilities and the other programs that you use haven't been able
to fix it - I'd have to recommend a low-level format of the disk to set it
back to factory specifications.
