My pst file is too large after changing computers and
exporting and importing the file onto the new computer.
Is it possible that there is duplicate data on the file
causing it to increase in size? If so, how would I know
this and reduce the size. I use an online back-up
service to back-up my pst file and it has more MBs than
is allowed by the service.

Is this the same Outlook version? Importing an Outlook 97-2002 pst-file into
an Outlook 2003 pst-file will increase the pst-file size since the format is
not the same.

Note that import/export is not a good practise to mve your pst-file.

First copy your original pst-file to the new computer.

To access that pst-file on the new computer;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

To set it as the default delivery location;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts...-> button Next-> use the dropdownlist below

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Why did you export and import? You could just copy the .pst file from the
old computer to the new one. How big is the current file?
