large hard drive

after i replaced my hd to a larger one (200GB)the computer
is not stable. from time to time it is restarting.
i think it is connected to the win 2000 pro os on the
computer.
is it? how can i solve it?

Have you looked in Event viewer to see if anything is
being stated? Also, how do you have the drive
configured? Was this just added and now you have an
original drive with the OS and the new drive as another
partition or was the OS a new install onto the single 200
drive? Was this also the only change made? Just trying
to get it figured for you but more info is needed!

If the drive is IDE you need to enable 48 bit addressing.
