Large excel file

Hi i have a very large excel file which won't open for me - I have
tried to open it about 7 times but it refuses to open - I cannot get
into the file to turn calculation off and as it stands its about 30mb.

Have you tried having another workbook, even if it's a new workbook, set the
calculation mode to Manual, then open the workbook that you are having
problems with?

What sort of error message are you getting, if any?

What version are you using?
