large email message stuck in outbox on users computer

Message contains a 7MB attchment and outlook is not able
to send it. I am unable to delete or move the file to
another folder. (Other email messages are not able to be
sent because of this msg.)
How can I delete this file?
I am using a Windows 2000 server.

The version of Windows isn't important, but the version of Outlook is.
Create a new PST (File>New>Personal Folders File or Outlook Data File,
depending on version). Make it the default delivery location (method varies
with version of Outlook). Delete the message from the old PST's Outbox.
Switch your delivery location back to the old PST. Close and delete the new
PST.
