I need a very large database of 100++ records to demonstrate the power of MS
Access. The larger, the better!

And your question is???

Do you want someone to send you a database? Keep in mind a large
database is going to be over a gig in size. That is rather large for most
e-mails.

Yes, I need someone to email me a database of 100 or more records so my
students can see the advantage/necessity of queries, filters, and sorts. I
can't afford the class time to have them enter that many records! Of course,
I realize file size could be a problem. . .

Hm. A "large" database will be 10,000,000 records or so, and will take
a lonnnnnnng while to download from a FTP site (forget about emailing
it).

You can create your own of course; but what does the number of records
in a table have to do with "the power of MS Access"?

Besides the other posts, are you aware of that Access comes with sample
database (the famous "Northwind.mdb")?

Sorry about that, my answer does not apply. 100 records is a very small
database by access standards. We think 100,000 is a smallish mid size
database.

I suggest you load up the sample database that comes with Access. It
may not have been loaded the first time, but it should still be on the
original disk and you can load it up. That would be a good one to use
because it was designed as a learning tool.
