Laptop (XP) will not connect to network anymore

My Laptop will not connect to the office network anymore.
It will connect to the internet through the network, but
it will not show the other computers on the network. In
the past, I could bring the laptop in and exchange with my
desktop and share with other computers. Nothing has
changed at work...The network there is simply 7 computers
connected to a hub with a dsl modem. There is no server,
just a shared folder system. It's very simple. I can
only deduce that something has been changed on the laptop,
but I'm not sure what. I am the only one that uses it and
I have not changed any settings.

Any thoughts?

Can xp ping other computers by ip? if yes, can it ping host name? posting
ipconfig /all may help.
