Boot the laptop with your WinXP CD, then select the
"Repair" option. If this does not work then you probably
have to reload Windows from scratch. You should also
fix your CapsLock key. Posting all in upper case is called
"shouting" in newsgroups. People do not like being shouted at.

Please post a complete copy of the Stop Error Report.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Keep pressing the
F8 key during StartUp and select option - Disable automatic restart on
system failure.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

What is the make and model of your laptop. What CD system disks do you
have for your computer?

Please do not post all in CAPS!

Hope this helps.

I don't think you want to "change the file system". You
probably want to copy the backed up registry files from
the Repair folder to the Config folder. Depending on
the configuration of your Recovery Console, you may or
may not be able to execute these commands:

copy \windows\system32\config\*.* \
copy \windows\repair\*.* \windows\system32\config

The first command will create a backup copy of the
registry files. The second command will copy the
registry files from the repair folder to the config folder.
