Laptop Problems

Hello i have got a problem that needs urgent attention. I have a laptop IBM R32 that the display screen flickers and hang after some minutes. I tried everything possible including bios update the problem still persist.its not a harddrive problem even without the hard disk drive it still misbehaves.
Has this happened to anyone here before? I need a solution ASAP

when you say without the hard drive it still misbehaves ? have you replaced the drive ?
