laptop keyboard

hi im using a medion laptop and the keys are all over the place! i have to
put caps lock on to type in lower case none of the numbers work and for that
matter nor do a lot of the other keys i cant think where to start

have you gone to the vendor site for your laptop? there maybe special
drivers and downloads required for your machine....... have you tried using
the onscreen keyboard? go to startup accessories accessiability and onscreen
keyboard. open it then open a blank doc, then use your mouse to press the
onscreen keyboard keys. do they work ok?

Check the ribbon cable going from the keyboard to the system board. Very
thin and fragile cable. Most likely you will need a new keyboard (about
$79.00 USD).
