Laptop hangs when using Hauppauge WinTV

Hi
Im using a packard bell Igo 2000 AMD 1200XP wi 256mb ram and an s3 savage 4
graphics card, the problem is that every so often my wintv application
crashes just freezes the screen, it works fine under my main computer but
problems on my laptop, its a Hauppauge WinTV USB.

I'm having the same problem on my desk top- MSFT says its
the graphics program - downloaded the patch and the
problem is still there. Tookk it back to Best Buy, they
said they fixed it, after 30 minutes running time it froze
up.
