Laptop backspace key disabled

I feel I must have done something that disabled my
backspace key.

I'm running Windows2000 on a Dell Latitude CPi.

Anybody got a clue?
 
Go to the bios and try working with backspace key. If key is not woking at
bios then there is hardware probelm.
