Language Issue - Windows XP Home

D

Damian

I have recently bought a new computer with a dutch version
of XP installed - as an expat in this wonderful country,
my technical dutch is practically non existant. I have
tried everything that I can think of to change the OS
language to english but to no avail. Any suggestions?
Would it be possible for me to obtain an english CD,
install and register using my dutch code? Or is their an
upgrade that I can purchase which will allow me to change
the language? ... all suggestions graciously accepted.

Thankyou.

One cannot change from one language version of Windows
to another language version of Windows. You'll have to
purchase a "Full English Version" of Windows XP,
reformat your drive and install it "clean". An "Upgrade Version"
of Windows XP in English will not work unless you have an
actual English version of a Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/2000
installation CD to use as a qualifier during the setup phase.
