If I have the ultimate version of vista is there an extra expense if I
want to tell it to use korean as my language instead of english?

Thanks,
Pete

No. You'll need to purchase the Korean version of Windows Vista
and perform a "clean install" or install it on a separate partition or drive.

Yes, you can run Windows Update and install the language pack for your
language. I did Spanish and it seemed to work fine. Please note it takes a
long time to download.

(You may need to go to the control panel in the Regional and Language
Options. and select the Keyboards and Languages tab. Then change the bottom
drop down)

I don't really want to change the UI interface of Vista, all I want to
do is read Korean documents in my web browser like I could with XP.

This actually raises a question out of curiosity from me.

How is Vista with IME (Input Method Editor) support?

I generally run my operating systems in English but also read / write text
in German and Japanese. Now German obviously isn't a problem in any case
but it is difficult to write Japanese without an IME. Even with a
direct-input keyboard (which I am still *desperatly* trying to get!) an IME
is still needed for Kana->Kanji conversion. This doesn't change the UI
language of the OS though.

I know XP has support for it. How is Vista on that though?
