Language conflict

Hi,
How I can transfer my personal configurations, msgs, etc from my old PC
running Windows XP SP-2 in Spanish to my new laptop running Windows Vista
Home Basic in English? I already try with Easy Trasnfer but I got a msg about
language incompatibility. Please, it`s very important for me. Also can answer
to (e-mail address removed).

HI,

If you must to have Vista and can't live without it, your best bet is to get
a Ultimate edition (be it OEM, Upgrade, or Retail Full) and it comes with
several Multilingual Language Packs.

After installed additional languages, you can have a choice of display in
another language and/or set System Local for another language, and the later
one is to determine which language will be used should you install a
non-Unicode software, or otherwise, it will display as random characters.

There must be a way to extract the files from MIG files. I have many
important files in that MIG file. I don't mind if it's a tricky way, just any
way.

Sorry, but when I say "Can't be done" that's pretty much what I mean. If
there is a way I don't know of it.
