Language Change

So I have a little question. I am in Spain right now with work and I`ll stay
in Spain for a long time and tomorow my new HP Laptop will come with a
preinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium ( Spanish Version I guess ). The
question that I have is .. how can I change the language of my Windows Vista
? Is that even posible ? The XP in Spanish makes me so confused I can`t even
imagine how the Vista in Spanish will make me. That I why I prefere the
English version. So .. since the OS on the laptop ( Vista ) comes with a
licence and is genuine and HP Spain does not give you the option of having a
English version of the OS on the laptop can I change it ¿ The display
language ? is there any way I can do that ¿

Thanx for the help ..

Windows Vista is written in specific language versions.
If you desire Windows Vista in English, you'll need to
purchase a "Full English" version of Windows Vista
and perform a "clean install".

hi.

The HP notebooks usually comes preinstalled with english as an
alternative.
At first boot you can choose between english and the local language,
but you're not able to change it after that.

Are you sreu about this? There's been some discussion here about the
ability to change languages even for the UI display that seems to be
supported by Microsoft documents on changing MUI's.

Install a display language
Applies to all editions of Windows Vista.

You can change the language Windows uses to display text in wizards,
dialog boxes, menus, and other items in the user interface. Some
display languages are installed by default; others require you to
install additional language files. [ ... ]

You can only change languages in Ultimate version of Vista, English Edition.
Presently, Windows Update shows 14 language packs, from Korean to Japanese,
Spanish included, working only in Ultimate Edition. You had to purchase (or
try to trade up) your Home Premium to Ultimate English, then apply the
Spanish pack. There's no English pack there, so I assume you cannot buy an
Ultimate in Spanish and apply a English pack.

I just didi that for Portuguese, and it's great.
