Language Bar

Dear All,

The language bar in my WinXP disappeared. I have tried to
go to Control Panel, Regional and Language Setting,
Language, Details, Setting, Language Bar. However, all the
options there are shadowed, and I cannot choose to turn my
language bar back on. This is really very bizarre.
Anyone has idea how to fix it? Does that mean my computer
is infected with virus?
