Landscape and Portrait slides in the same presentation

Is it possible to have BOTH landscape and portrait slides in the same
presentation? Or do I have to insert a link to slides like the help files
state?

Depends on your version of PowerPoint. Have a look here

Well if it were up to me I wouldn't use Powerpoint to accomplish what my boss
wants to do. Sometimes people just use certain software because they are
used to it rather than using the appropriate software that would take care of
the problem.

The company doesn't have Publisher, which would have been the preferred
software for me. So in this case they wanted to have ONE file with both
landscape and portrait in it SIMPLY just to be able to print the information.
This isn't going to be a presentation.

So while I think your information was helpful, it really doesn't allow for
the Page Setup to be landscape on one slide and the Page Setup to be portrait
on another slide in the same presentation.

I'm using PPT 2000 BTW. Sorry I didn't mention that at the onset of this
conversation.

I'm going to use a different software program to accomplish this. It just
makes more sense.

Thanks for your quick reply!!! I appreicate it.

What is it your boss wants you to do? If it doesn't require animations, you
can certainly do it in Word (and Word does allow this feature using Section
breaks).
