LAN installation

I've upgraded from ME to XP, but now can't use internet explorer because the
LAN has not been transferred with the upgrade. Can anyone help me install
LAN? Thank you.
 
You need to install the winxp drivers for your motherboard / PC - from
manufacturers sites, not winupdate
