LAN Connection is activated but Icon is not visible in system tray

I dont have problem in enjoying surfing the net through LAN connection but in
sysem tray (Notification area) the icon is not visible.

Please help and guide me to get the Icon back in system tray (Notification
area) so i must b notified when connection is activated and when not
connected.

Two boxes for such notifcation in LAN properties is ticked but of no avail.

the problem is something else, i said already that those two boxes r ticked
still system tray doesnt show my LAN connection in notification area.

If possible give hitting reply so the problem must b solved and i must b
able to see notification of LAN state in notification area.
