I know this is not as technical as the other questions, but how do I create a
sheet of labels that I can save?

If there are (or will be) more than enough records to fill one page of
labels, you are better off setting up a list of contacts (you may already
have one if you use Outlook or Excel) & a main Labels document so you can
merge the data with many more advantages than just typing the names &
addresses directly into a "label layout".

Some excellent guidelines are available at;

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/CreateAMailMerge.htm

although it may be based on an earlier version of Word than what you are
using (which is always a good thing to include in your posts). Check the Mail
Merge info in the Help of your Word program for more version-specific
particulars, & post back with any problems you might run into.

In the Labels dialog, click New Document to get a full sheet of labels.
They're set up as a table, so be sure you have table gridlines displayed
(Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries. As others have
suggested, if you need to create more than one sheet of labels at a time, a
mail merge is more appropriate.
