Label printer sharing

I have a simple Access 2000 database of addresses shared by two users.
One user is on the PC that hosts the database, the other shares on his
own PC across our small office network. I have a form that finds the
required address and a push button that opens a report for a label and
prints the label. The label printer is a Dymo 320. The label printer
is on the machine with the shared drive. My problem is that when the
user sharing the drive tries to print, I get a dialogue box saying the
label printer cannot be found even though it is shared on the network.
I set the label printer up on the host machine using Page Setup on the
report Design menu. However when I set up the printer from the other
PC that shares the database using the same method ie Page Setup it
works but then the same problem then happens with the host. I think it
is something to do with thenetwork path for the printer. Sorry if
this is long winded but I am at a loss as to how to fix. I have a
little VB writing capability.

Have you connected the printer over the network to the second PC? Just
because he is using an Access file store on the first PC does not mean that
it is "running" on that PC. It is running on the PC of the user and that
user's PC needs to be connected to that printer.
