Label in forms and reports

Is there a way to stop access from automatically creating a label when you
insert a control item (eg text box) into a form or report?

I often only want the control source and no accopamying label

Yes
Make a form , add a control , remove the label & set as Template for new
forms

PS a simple search in this newsgroup would have givven you the answer
 
Maybe it is Pieter, but I have spent a lot of time searching for answers,
finally to give up, post a query and get the same rather snitty response.
What if it was in a different group? Or misspelled? Or phrased differently?
