kvm w/dvi and vga question

I want to use my DVI monitor on two different computers. Comp1 has a DVI video
card, Comp2 has only VGA 15 pin.

Can I simply use a DVI KVM switchbox between them using the DVI/VGA adaptor for
Comp2?

Are there any dual platform KVM devices that can mix the the two?

Only if it is DVI-I KVM and monitor - has to have the analog signal on
the DVI for
the adaptor & monitor to work with the VGA dongle. The monitor should
clearly
tell you if it is or not - the KVM is uncharted h2o IMHO.

Dunno - Google is your helper for that - no hits, no dice....
