I can't email or print pictures. The computer keeps telling me the Kodak
Easyshare Software has to be connected to the internet. I am on line. .

My wife got a Kodak camera and the CD installed Easy Share. Couldnt get it
to work. Followed all the instructions on the Web site. Still wouldn't
work. She called tech support. When they started repeating their
instructions she called me. I uninstalled Easy Share. Now she prints
without a problem.

Not sure if it will make a difference, but did you install the version of
QuickTime offered with the EasyShare download, or have you installed the latest
version of QuickTime from Apple's site?

Do you have an always on broadband connection? If not, you might remove the KES
shortcut from the Startup folder, and running KES after you connect.

I am running KES with out a problem And QuickTime with no problems including
full Aero interface.

Newest version of QuickTime player is 7.1.6

Any thing in Kodak Easy Share Tools > Preferences that applies?

I sent a picture from the old pc (XP). I noticed on the old one it says
"Welcome to MSN.com-Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by Verizon online".

Where does this "Welcome to MSN.com..." message appear? In the IE title bar?
If so that *might* be just the branding for IE.

Kodak Easy Share works perfectly fine here on RoadRunner cable broadband.

I think you should contact Verizon. Does Windows Mail and IE work properly?

Do you have to enter a user name and password for your Verizon access? I'm not
familiar with DSL or MSN. You might try in KES the Tools > Preferences > Online
Settings tab and enter your Verizon (MSN) User name and Password.

I FIXED IT!! tools - internet options - connecting - check "never dial a
connection" and also tools - internet options - programs - check "tell me
if internet explorer is not the default web browser"

I also went to KES tools and put in my Verizon info and also checked "use an
HTTP proxy server"

I can now send videos - I guess I needed RealPlayer - but I still can't get
photos or pictures sent to me in emails - they go to a temp file that it says
it can't find. shouldn't there be an easier way?
