Known Issue - "active protection feature"

Isn't this the real-time protection? Kinda need this
turned on, no?

Incompatibility with enterprise administration tools

There is a known incompatibility with computers managed in
an enterprise. Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) can potentially
prompt the end user to make decisions to allow or block
administrative action that originate from a central
management tool. For example, users may be prompted to
allow or block a Systems Management Server (SMS) script.
To avoid potential issues with end users blocking
administrative actions, please turn off the active
protection feature of Windows AntiSpyware (Beta).

Randy,

At this time if you are in an enterprise it is possible that an end user
could block processes that a domain administrator wants to run on a system
if real-time protection is turned on. Since it is possible that in an
enterprise there could be many management tools used to manage end-user
desktops, we wrote that KB to talk about possible issues in the enterprise.
All customers are different, and you may not fall under that category, so
in any enterprise I would research the effects of using this beta prior to
wide deployment to end-user desktops.

Hope that helps!
