Active protection and beta 1 features

Does windows defender have active protection? With beta 1 there was a
bullseye symbol in the toolbar which showed that it was working but beta 2
doesn’t, does this mean there is no active protection? And what happened to
Browser restore and track eraser as these features was the main reason I kept
Microsoft antispyware, is it possible to reinstall beta 1and where would I
download it from? Thanks in advance.

Hello Daceb,
Does windows defender have active protection?
Defender does both real-time protection, on demand, and scheduled scanning.

The system tray icon for Windows Defender (Beta 2) will not be visible if no
action is needed. This is expected behavior.
