Knowledge Base Article 241477 (Export text in Access 2000)

We are having a problem using the TransferText method to export to text. It is coming up with an error similar to run-time error 3625 described in the Symptoms for article 241477. However the only solution listed pertains to importing text. Is any solution possible for exporting? Any constructive response is appreciated. Thanks!! Mike

I should explain that the TransferText is working on my PC but not on the PC of the user, so I am doing the function for him to create a .txt file using an export specification. On his PC it is not recognizing the specification. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! MIKE

I think we may have figured out the problem by making sure the group the user is in has permissions to the table MSysIMEXSpecs. I will confirm that, the user is not in the office now. Stay tuned!
