I definitely don't use the web interface for posting or reading posts,
because it's too klunky as a user interface, but it's great that they are web-searchable.
When you're looking for an answer, using keyword web searches, it makes life simpler.

Searching for Visual Studio answers at Google...returns many hits for all VS products.
Searching within the VS 2005 Forums returns *only* VS 2005 answers
