Killing an OE outgoing email

sending email with attachment, looks like the path for the
attachment has changed and OE is hung trying to send.
How can I kill an outgoing message process, or all outgoing
- OE has been hung on this for 2 days now (several
attachments).
Appreciate any info.

PressCancel in the dialog or Ctrl + Alt + Delete and stop MS Internet Mail & News (MSIMN.EXE) on the proces tab. Why would you wait two days.
 
If you can't delete the one message, move any messages that you want to keep
out of the Outbox.
Close OE.
Search for 'outbox.dbx' without the quotes. In XP, you may have to search
hidden files.
Delete outbox.dbx.
Restart OE.
