Kill IEXPLORE.EXE fails in Task Manager

Peter

Have tested to start iexplore.exe from within a batch
(.cmd-file) say in cmd-file: "C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://192.168.0.3 in a Windows
2000 server SP4 + all pre sp4 hotfixes.

I had a reason for doing this - but now I have at least 9
processes going on with IEXPLORE.EXE and I can't kill any
of them in Windows Task Manager.

What to do? I can't have it like this - A restart will
solve the issue I know, but is there any other solution to
this behavior.

Please help if you know the answer.

New day, new experiences...

If you ever want to start IEXPLORE.EXE with arguments
from within a command file, use (rows in cmd-file):

cd \Program Files\Internet Explore
iexplore.exe http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

This will save the day.
