keylogger virus

Apparently several people have already complained about the keylogger virus. I too receive a warning about the same virus being on my system when I log on. I have called the HP computer help line that supposedly came with my system, that line is always busy, I have looked up repair methods on-line and tried several that did not work, and I have tried several Mircosoft and windows help and support tips. Nothing helped. When are you computer people going to fix this?????

Always first try your antivirus software with the latest definitions downloaded
from the manufactures website. Also try a couple parasite removal tools such as
AdAware and SpyBoy Search and Destroy being sure to download their latest
definitions as they change often. Other methods are to try to use a process
explorer and a startup detection utility to try and track the program down
manually which can be difficult if you do not know what are legitimate processes
running on your computer. If you want to give that a try you can download
Process Explorer and Autoruns from SysInternals to inspect your computer for
unauthorized applications/processes. However keep in mind that often the only
sure way to make sure a computer is clean is to backup your data and
configuration and do a clean install on a formatted hard drive and then take
steps to avoid future infrctions. See the links below for more info. --- Steve
