Does anyone know how to make the PC produce a keyclick sound?

I've looked everywhere, even at various sites offering share/freeware.

Best wishes

About the only way would be to get an early keyboard.
They spent thousands of dollars creating quiet key boards.

Why do you need to hear a clicking sound?

My laptop keyboard is very quiet and occasionally when I type fast it misses
a character. I find that with a keyclick feedback this happens much less.

There are many. I use Noisy Keyboard [ Just for fun ]. It adds sound options
for keys in your Control Panel > Sounds an audio....
You will find lots of:

I already tried that one, it's just too noisy (!), I was looking for a quiet
click like the one the onscreen keyboard makes. Thanks for suggesting it
though.

You can set its dounds in Control Panel > Sounds and audio devices.
Set a sound you like, there are many in Windows\Media. May be the
OnScreenKeyboard's [osk] sound is in Windows\media too.
