i have just installed xp pro but i have a problem with
the keyboard in that the ' and 2 key have switched places
in shift mode (ie if i push shift and ' together i should
get @ but i get the " instead and vice-versa) how do i
rectify this please

Go to the Control Panel and select Regional and Language Options.

Set your keyboard for the correct country and language. Most common is that
you have set it for US English when it should be UK English.
