Keyboard wont hibernate

I have my keyboard [Microsoft Internet Keyboard] set up
so that the Sleep button activates Hibernate. It has
worked well for two years. Suddenly, it has now stopped
performing.

I can hibernate by Start, Turn Off, Standby+Ctrl+Shift.
That works fine.

Anyone know why the keyboard should suddenly refuse to
work on this button... and how i can fix it?
