Keyboard sticks when pressing down arrow.

When I press the down or up arrows on the keyboard, if I hold them down, the cursor doesn't move. I have to press the key repeatedly to make the cursor move down the page. It moves just one cell every time I press it. I'm sure I was able to move more freely in Windows 95 (I'm now using XP)

is that just in Excel or is it the same for everything. If it's everything,
check the keyboard settings in Control Panel.
