Keyboard resource conflict

The Logitech duel LED mouse in my PC was not working correctly. I
downloaded the latest driver. All was well - I thought... The keyboard
does not work at all. The device manager shows a conflict. The mouse is
using I/O 60 - 60 and 64 - 64 which is used for the keyboard. I have
uninstalled the mouse and am using a standard PS/2, which works, but the
keyboard doesn't. I then deinstalled the KBoard and reinstalled it. Still
a conflict. Also the device manager shows error (19) registry damaged or
incomplete.
Does anyone know how to resolve this.
Thanks,
Peter

My solution would be to run a Repair setup without ACPI, then a Repair using ACPI.

Press F-7 at the 'Press F-6 for RAID' prompt. This will disable ACPI and enable APM

If you run an XP "Upgrade" or Repair setup, from the original, or "Gold" version of the setup CD, and you have SP2 installed, it
might go into a setup loop, and you could lose your install. Uninstall SP2, BEFORE you Upgrade setup from CD (that lacks sp2 on it.)
